SKUAST-K is located adjacent to a famous Mughal garden namely Shalimar and the campus is beautiful. It has pretty much everything you could need on campus and has good transport links for public transport. I've enjoyed the course I am enrolled in where I love seeing faculty members who are really enthusiastic about their subject. The in-person lectures have been done well this year, as generally every lecture was streamed online and recorded so 10/10 for that.

The environment on the campus is lively and I have found teachers very supportive and open to innovative ideas which has helped me as an individual to think out-of-box. The second aspect which I like about SKUAST-K is that the mentors/teachers help us to work in tandem with other team members resulting in developing communication skills and enhancing our knowledge base with the implementation of sharing & caring approach.

The support provided by the university in counselling students has been exemplary and the CCPC (Career Counselling & Placement Cells) across the university is a justification for the same. The members of CCPC equip students with a platform where a student can nurture and nourish the concept along with exposure to the requirement of the Industry.

SKUAST-K is well known for technology innovation and great value. This institute helped me in getting my idea acknowledged at various levels. SKUAST-K helped me represent my idea at Ideathon under NAHEP-SKUAST-K where my idea ranked 3rd. It provided me with a stage to promote my concept at the 7th Technology Exhibition cum Seed Sale Mela, where all distinguished guests accepted my concept. It provided me with a platform to advocate for my idea at the national level, with the Honorable Prime Minister as the principal guest.
